Its in the Natural Selection folder in your steamapps/common. Use the LaunchPad.exe and itll pull up the user interface for everything from the editor to model viewer and lua debugger..
It used to ask you if you wanted to launch game or launchpad when you ran it, hopefully they bring that back or make a tools entry for it

Wow, I am so pumped for this game! Great trailer!
Congrats UWE people!

-
Congrats indeed! It's been 10 years since the release of NS1. I can't imagine what's going through Charlie's and everyone else's head right now who has worked on the sequel for so long. Glad to see that you shipped this bitch finally and it IS looking spectacular!
-
Yeah, congrats guys! I haven't had a chance to play the last few beta releases, really looking forward to spending some quality time with this release version this weekend.
-
Big day! Good to see this finally out. Seems like a successful release
-
Yaaaaay, the game doesn't even launch for me. Woooohooooo.

I played about 30 minutes last night and thought it was pretty fun, aside from having terrible lag problems (which seems to be the case of my connection having a bad night). I was a bit confused about knowing what to do or where to go, and clicking the mouse wheel would go to a beacon in the middle of a wall that seems to just identify the area that the player is in? Strange considering there is already a text location identifier on the HUD at all times.
There was a player talking on the mic who said he had been playing for four years. He was helpful and not pushy and was guiding people along, every server should have one of those guys

I think the infestation is great since it makes it so clear you are pushing into an alien owned area. Wheras being an alien it is not quite as clear of a distinction between environment art and a marine structure. I even stumbled across the command chair by accident and destroyed it and our team won!

Playing right now liam, gtf on here.
-
Alright bought it! Gonna check it out tomorrow or this weekend!

-
It can be an extremely, extremely overwhelming game for a beginner, so I recommend going in with the expectation that you'll have to spend a few hours just learning the ropes. After that, you're good.
-
performance is pretty bad for what you get tbh
-
Performance is a known issue, Rick, yeah. FPS was increased by 30-50% the other week, and there has been a lot of discussion amongst the engine programmers as to what to do next. The reason it is worse than other games is that the entire game is done in LUA on a C++ code base, which makes it really easy to mod but there is a slowdown between the 2.
There is definitely stuff planned to keep increasing FPS though!
