    - I think you need character portraits, because usually the player model is standing right in front of them and I can't see who's talking.

    - Use fewer words. Use colored text. Do what Zelda does, basically.

Holy crap wall of text. Hire CJ as your writer guy, he's done a way better job.

    Featured! http://video.unity3d.com/video/4626582/ ... w-horizons

I think I played the first beta, dunno. Min0 shared the beta call out some years ago.

It's good to see that the game evolved so much. Keep up the great work!

Our payment processor started to outsource credit card payments to a different company around our release who clearly do not get their shit together. Thanks for your purchase Tay and sorry about the inconvenience! Paying directly via PayPal or selecting PayPal, then "pay as guest" and then entering your credit card details seems to be more reliable for the time being.

Something that I've always noticed but assumed would be looked into with time is the way the camera moves. At the moment it feels quite stiff and overly fast in comparison to what I'm used to in comparable games, even on the PC (eg: Psychonauts). Also the way that it seems to turn at the same speed as the player character feels a little jarring, as in this kind of game you're usually able to run around without the camera necessarily spinning to follow you (this can be seriously disorientating).

I think the camera would feel quite a bit better if it weren't snapping to the player character so tightly and a bit more easing to its motions (ie: it speeds up and slows down with a broader gradient), and it could perhaps benefit from being a little further away from her too. 3D platformers have spent many years iterating how to get the camera feeling just right and there's a lot of games to be inspired by.

Other than that I truly love the way this game looks and feels. The art is so wonderful.

I guess you guys know you can get infinite height off the jetpack? Though I tried to fly above volcano island and I got a freeze :X

Thanks, Thrik! It should be noted that I played the game using the mouse & keyboard. It looks a little more fluid when you use a controller, regardless your comments on the camera should be taken into account. I'll leave this up to Soenke to judge though!

    (sorry )

The jetpack will behave differently in the future. The default function will be hovering to get across long distances, but it won't give you that boost as it does now. At least that won't be possible infinitely, instead we want to place fueling stations, where you charge the jetpack, so you can propel yourself upwards just a few times. We just couldn't resist to include the jetpack in its current implementation into the preview, because we thought it might be a nice little extra for players to toy around with after the level/quest content of the preview is done. Thanks for bringing it up though!

Ah, fair point Frie. I have tried it briefly also with a mouse/keyboard, but it didn't occur to me it might behave differently with a pad. I would recommend your camera guy check out Psychonauts if he can, as that was developed largely with the PC in mind and includes probably the best mouse/keyboard platformer camera I've seen. It can be controlled just like in PoNH, but it also operates smartly if you leave it alone and does a really good job of looking cinematic — it'd help bring out your gorgeous graphics and scenes so much.

Me and Zacker both worked on the camera. He made the automated stuff that kicks in if you leave the camera alone for a while and I augmented it a little bit to take into account what kind of steepness you are standing on. Which means if you are walking up a hill it will move while panning up down so you can see up etc..

Hey I just played through the latest preview and I really like it. I get that warm happy feeling I used to get when I played Mario Sunshine and Zelda Wind Waker, the visual styles and environments really made me love those games.
