I've heard about this tech a couple of times the last year or so. Although some of the technical details still sound somewhat wonky to me, then it sounds like the end result is pretty striking. Sounds like LA Noire is going to lead the charge with this tech, very interested in seeing if it's as great as everyone is making it sound.
Doesn't exactly sound like a cheap way of doing it though. Proper old-school motion capture setups can still be a somewhat pricey affair, and from the sound of this then it sounds like a bit more significant investment. But who cares if the result are worth it ![]()
