My boss asked me last friday to reach out to forums I visit to see who would be interested in freelancing for our company, Simthetiq. We're a small company that makes game models for military simulations and serious games.
He's looking to build a small team of freelance Hi-Res Vehicle Modelers.
Responsibilities:
- For now, model and unwrap high-res vehicle models according to provided and researched reference. (Possibility of texturing may come later)
- Report to outsourcing manager to pass model verification/review process and bring the necessary changes according to feedback
- Deliver the final model with appropriate hierarchy, naming convention, etc. (all this will be provided with documentation)
Requirements
- Have an acute eye for detail and proficiency in reproducing a vehicle from references
- A skype account to communicate with the outsourcing managers and/or other developers
- Have good English or French written and verbal skills to communicate with outsourcing manager
Other Details:
- The salary will be in and around 17$/hr CAD
- This is a freelance, off-site position.
- Start date is TBD, it depends on the responses we get with this.
