    Hi everyone!

I'm planning updates to my portfolio and would very much appreciate any criticism I can get (work/portfolio/both).

    Thanks in advance.

    1) I like the one page approach, but it feels a little too cluttered imo. I think if you would place the images on the left and the text next to it on the right (alligned left), increase the size of the video a bit and place 3 or 4 smaller thumbnails under the video linking to images would look cleaner.

    2) Ditch the HL2 map, seriouslly it looks like crap. Its a blocky room with some props tossed in there.

    Thanks marnamai

You are right about the hl2 map, it does not look very interesting. It is just a personal project and it is WIP; however I'll remove it and maybe add it back later once I have finished it.

I agree on the size of the video and and maybe the images under it, but I prefer the text on the left side of the video.

Thanks very much, I'll definitely make some changes.

Move the right-column over to the left. It looks really odd and unnatural to have it on the right.

Love you stuff will be back to look though it as some of it looks really cool. My issue is the background and the background for the main content are both the same, can make it a little difficult to look at but that could be just me.

Psy: I wanted to make it a bit more interesting and that is the reason why it is one the right side; however I see your point and I'll move it to the left to make it more natural. Thanks

sarge mat: thanks I'm glad you like it The colours should be different (left/right-column) but I might make it slightly brighter.

    Thanks very much.

    Hello,

I've updated the layout for my portfolio site and added a new game called Mount Dash (still in development).

    Feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks.

I don't like the bold words throughout the page. They seem a bit random and distracting. Let the words and the presentation call out what is important. Consider simplifying your text if you are concerned about not getting your point across. I'm also a bit confused about Trap, INC. The text claims it is slower and more strategic than most twitch based shooters, yet the video portrays the game as having faster movement speed and more sensitive aim than almost any shooter I can think of. If this is not how the game is (ie; the video rate is faster than normal) I would reconsider how you are presenting this project.

Thanks very much Algor. With the bold text I have attempted to make it easier to scan through the page quickly, however if it looks random and distracting I have to tweak it.

You are absolutely right about the video; it does portray a very frantic gameplay. Unfortunately I had very little time to do it and I have not had a chance to finish the new version of the video, yet. Thanks again for your input, I really appreciate it.
