As for the Amazon problem, I inquired about it, and here's the response I got:
Unfortunately Amazon mp3 does not service that territory yet. All content can be visible but will not work if you want to buy. Amazon is adding new territories daily and should be working soon in that territory. Once the Denmark store is active I will let you know.

I just use RSS feeds in FeedReader. Works pretty well, and they don't pester me about installing Safari.
