    Hey hey

so as some of you (or none of you) may know I've been getting into the whole music thing a lot more lately. Me and a buddy of mine from Cali formed a band last year and have been writing and recording like crazy since then. We laid down an 8-track demo EP in December and are now working full-steam on a full album.

I realize that many of you are probably not into this type of music but hey give it a listen, you might like it. This is our first single off the album and it's a song called "What Mattered Most". And yes that's me singing. If you like bands like the Fray or Switchfoot then you should enjoy this.

If you happen to like it and feel like supporting us (I never knew making music was so damn expensive), the song is now up on iTunes for just one cent short of a dollar

    Anyway here goes.

Wow Luka! Even though it's really not my kind of music then it actually sounded like something you'd hear on the radio, very "commercial". You actually have a really good voice, very hoarse (Not horse, even though that would be awesome!), sounds very pro

Anyway, bought it from iTunes, keep on truckin Luka!

(P.S. Get back to DX3 you slob! [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif] )

Why you are not working on my game, and doing shit music instead is beyond me... I have no comments on this faggotery...

ha ha Nah just kidding, congratulations on this man, will buy the music on iTunes. Quite an hobby you have here, do I see you leave the Games Industry sooner or later in the future to start doing this full time? Because this sounds very professional.

About the music itself, it's really really nice, specially further down, cos the beginning is a bit to slow and simplistic but the chorus is badass and you have a nice voice man!

There are only a handful of slow songs, supported by an acoustig guitar in my playlist, but I really dig this one. Great job Daniel, keep it up!

It takes 5 mins to install iTunes and buy this song. Are you guys serious? If you really want to support klein, you'd go ahead and download iTunes and buy his stuff.

If iTunes made my homepage apple.com and installed ask toolbar I would still do it for iTunes University.

    edit: catchy tune

um yeah, but apple is bullshit. i'm not going to download itunes for any song. especially considering the DRM and format they have their songs in.

    Cool stuff Klein!

When you were at Grin Barcelona did you ever work with Tor Helmstein? He's the singer of a semi famous indie band called Loveninjas.

At lot of ex guys from Grin have their own bands actualy.

Very nice luka!! It's great to see how focused and how serious you are about this. I remember a few years ago when you purchased your guitar and was still learning everything. Very inspiring stuff.

As for the album art, I'm not sure if it's final or not, but I'd work on it a bit more. The name of your band is sort of hidden in the bottom... if I didn't know you I wouldn't be sure if the band is called long story short or what mattered the most. Also get rid of the gradients! Plain solid colors ftw.

A great cover can really sell your stuff, so watch out for that!

Keep it up man, best of luck!

Thanks guys for all the great comments. To be honest I was preparing myself mentally to be torn apart on here because well.... I dunno whenever I think of Mapcore I think of D3 .....and death metal.... so yeah. But I appreciate it! haha

For those of you having problems with iTunes, the song is also available on Amazon as an MP3 download. Some people have told me Amazon is usually US only but it shouldn't be. Let me know if you encounter any problems. The links is: http://www.amazon.com/What-Mattered-Mos ... 324&sr=8-1

@Steppe: I think I left just before Tor joined Grin BCN so I must have missed him.

Thanks again for the support Oh and Minos... here's the cover art in full size, and yeah it's final :

The lower text looks a bit weird, and the gradients are fail. Overall tho, looks good. I like the colors.

And wtf, I don't listen to Metal... lol!
