    Clay Davis is the sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

ON-TOPIC: Imagine if this demonstration was running through CUDA. That would be a major kick in the balls for ATI users.

CS4 is fine, tabs are great. Just don't run it on your netbook.

best thing about CS5 is that it wil finally have brushes that can smudge as well.. great for painting! Been waiting on this feature for years =).

Let's just hope it can actually be used without killing your CPU (current smudge tool is bad as hell)

But wait, you can select different brushes for smudging in CS4 iirc.

I'm talking about painting and smudging at the same time!! Kinda like the oil paint brushes in painter, or the opencanvas brush =).T-bone, it's just the default settings that make smudge slow, if you turn off smoothing and set brush spacing a bit further apart it runs pretty fast (and still looks the same)

just tried that, still runs like crap :/ (I'm on CS4 here)

Ohhh, right! Yeah, love the brush in open canvas. That's good news then.

Why don't you use painter for painting, it kicks photoshops ass.

About time that PS implements this, the technology has been there for years. As previous links in this thread clearly shows.

I don't understand, I loved painter from the first moment I laid my eyes on it. Everything works just the way it works IRL, it's immediately familiar and logical how you should go about doing stuff.

i think by now people have grown accustomed to the photoshop interface and general tools, and that plays a large role in picking your software preference.

Either that's entirely fake, or I have actually for the first time experienced what "jaw dropping" feels like. This algorithm is absolutely stunning.
