Just get all the house DVD's!

I bought it from amazon.co.uk, although it's really retarded that the first 4 seasons have NO subtitles at all and It's 4:3! What the flying fuck...?

A show that it's recorded in 16:9, broadcasted in 16:9, get's sold on DVD on 4:3!

And as for subtitles, I like to watch my movies (and series) with English subtitles, and not having subs, not even in English is kind of an insult for hearing impaired people

They've only just released Season 5, and Sky are 3/4 of the way through Season 6!

The UK DVD releases are in 16:9 though and my missus is slowly collecting them, she gets them when they're <£15 not the ridiculous £45 they charge on release.

I haven't pirated a game since I discovered Steam, partly because of how convenient it is, partly because at that time I moved from poor student to poor part-time employee, partly because I got serious about working in this industry. Got me about 160 games on Steam since then, and almost none in stores!

I do download tv series, mostly for my girlfriend cause I don't watch anything these days, but it's just 'cause they're available online before anywhere else, and she still buys the seasons when they come out in stores. I sometimes download a movie, but I try to go to the theater instead when possible (my gf can get cheap tickets with her job). I mostly pirate when I'm not certain it's worth the money they ask for it, and often if it's good, I buy the movie or related material like the soundtrack. I got a few pirated software installed, but I try to rely on free apps more and more instead. I barely download music anymore, and rely on websites like Deezer or Grooveshark. Could say I'm a recovering pirate

Dexter Season 3 hasn't even been released in the UK despite it airing in the US at the end of 2008.

Sometimes when it's hard to find in the legal way.

    This.

I listen mainly to underground stuff and finding them in France is very hard. However, when I can purchase music, I do. (especially vinyls)

I also sometimes download things to give them a try, and buy afterwards if I like.

Tbh there's so much porn on the internet which can be downloaded for nothing, I wouldn't even consider it illegal... others may disagree though.

I pay for all my games and what little films I watch I will pay for but have downloaded a few. A bit of software too as no effort is made to price it towards consumers for some products. TV can be a mix but I do get a lot of seasons on DVD.

Get all my music on Spotify now and buy a few track's that I REALLY REALLY like.

That said about games the shit DRM makes me think sometimes. I got Dragon Age on disk because it cost less than steam and thought about getting an illegal copy so I would not need the disk. People who pay get fucked over bad.

Music: Buy it all, now that proper digital stores finally work as they should. That is, I have free downloads of music included in my ISP subscription at a reasonable price.

Games: Haven't bought a physical game in 2-3 years now. Of the games I actually play though, I buy almost all of them - much love for Steam. Still got some cracked copies laying around for certain games though.

Movies: The good ones I watch in the cinema, the rest I download at shady places.

Games i buy. I download roms for DS tho so i can have all my games on one card.

Programs depends if i can afford them. I try to legal solutions tho. For example i'm still using a legal version of 3dsmax 7 instead of pirating a newer version.

Music i neither buy nor pirate. Spotify and internet radios are my friend.

Movies and Tv-Shows i download quite often tbh. Can't be arsed to wait for a german release and i don't care much for dubbed stuff anyway. I guess i will spent more money on these things when i make the transition to bluray eventually.

games: buy. besides TF2, i mostly use my PS3 for games so i couldn't download them anyway. when i do get PC games, i buy them months later or 2nd hand for about £5

movies: unless i've already seen a film at the cinema and liked it, i download it first so i know i'm not wasting my money if i don't like it. if i do, i buy it, even though most of the movies i've done this with, i've never actually watched the dvd except maybe for special features.

music: most of the bands i listen to these days release their music for free anyway, a lot of them i only even know about because i found their songs for free on last.fm. most of my favourite bands i got into by downloading some CDs and then slowly buying them all afterwards.

lol I'm not gona say I've _never_ downloaded something illegal before, going back 5 years or so, maya was the only thing think I ever really downloaded.

Now I wouldnt though because I've got past the point of needing to prove my work at home (amature etc), autodesk should make the "learning edition" actually be able to export, all be it very simplified options so newbies can use it for game development. Whats the point in learning the tool if you can't do anything with it

Plenty of porn on the net, viewed through sites like youtube and i really don't want to get involved in live streaming websites copyright debate. That being said I actually joined a porn site once, was amazing lol although novely soon wears off.

I buy all movies, software, games, music and I don't jailbreak my iphone etc.

Nothing wrong with paying for quality porn. It's true that the amount of free porn on the internet is endless. Pay sites still have certain advantages that can be worth the money imo. Who wouldn't prefer HD quality videos over some shitty youtube clone streams? To just name one example.
