Strange that mac is alowing software that could replace Itunes for the games.

wait what exactly does that mean ?!

    a) valve will start ALLOWING mac compatible games to be sold on the store ... so at first the selection is gonna be tiny to none existent !?

b)valve will run some windows emulation shit that makes all steam games compatible on the mac ?! that would be a quit a technical acheivment/undertaking

    c) only their games will start running on mac and they will start encouraging devs to do the same ?!

Either Source will be run with a wrapper akin to WINE or Valve have created an OpenGL render path. Hmm. I'd rather have Linux support though I'm aware of how it would be next to impossible for Valve to offer support for all the possible Linux distros.

Now confirmed. Runs on OpenGL. Cross-platform gaming. If you own a Valve game on PC, you'll get the mac license for free a'la Blizzard style.
