    Most generic game title ever

The Penumbra games owned though, definitely gonna give this a shot.

Nice title, can't wait for the sequel "Hyperthemia: The Black Catacombs"

But in all seriousness, it looks pretty cool, visuals have definately gone up a notch since Penumbra, I must admit I never finished Black Plague, I stopped playing because my video card died and I haven't been back to it since, not sure why. I'll have to get back into it again, I remember being in some kind of hub section with several paths leading off, one to a kennel or something *memory hazy*

2010 looks like it's shaping up to be totally awesome for PC games

repair a damaged server by custom loading individual hardware cards with proper software, all while under the threat of the monster you locked in a closet five feet behind the computer you're using to solve the puzzle

was one of the best ever. Pretty much everything in that room from start to finish was fantastic.

The penumbra guys haven't been slacking one bit! the game game ooooozes of atmosphere. It reminds me though that I still haven't start/finished penumbra that's still laying there in my Steam account =P...damn weekend deals.

I got all the penumbra games packaged together for $5 on Gamersgate. Feel kinda guilty for such a deal. I'll try and get AMNESIA THE DARK DESCENT when it comes out at full price.

Quick reminder for everyone that this is out tomorrow! As a big fan of the Penumbra games I've really been looking forward to this. If you pre-order it from their website or from steam you get a 20% discount, so get your order in quick if you wanna save a bit of cash. My purchase on Steam came to just £10 with the discount, but even without it's hardly breaking the bank at £13.

Highly highly recommend any survival horror fans take a look at this - if it can live up to Penumbra it'll be ace. Eurogamer seem to think it does from the 8.10 score, but to avoid spoilers I didn't read much of it

The demo won't start, unfortunately. Says the game crashes, blabla. I tried a lot of different things but nothing worked.

The game does sound interesting and the trailers are awesome, so I'll probably purchase it anyway, just waiting for my new rig.

I tried the demo. It's pretty cool and moody, exactly what I was expecting from the Penumbra guys. Will get this for sure.

I'm about 30 minutes in... I can't decide whether I like it or whether I think it's a bunch of "cheap" tricks. Fake footstep sounds, lots of random sudden FOV changes, seemingly random deus ex machina triggers. Sometimes it feels right and awesome, but sometimes I'm kind of rolling my eyes at so much effort to achieve a really artificial atmosphere. Some parts feel like Doom 3 but without the campiness. I dunno. I'll play some more, I guess...
