Just redownloaded it and the new manual is kick ass! Really professional and you covered basically every step of the installation I missed the first time

Stupid Crysis mod launcher that won't load the mod!

I dunno if this thing even works at all, no luck with any of the mods I tried to run so far, I had to create a shortcut to the game everytime. That's why I included the installer that creates them automatically.

Watching you on the video trying it again and again wasn't very fun either, should have made it clearer from the start

Just finished writing the post-mortem for this project:

Nothing too fancy, but some reference/game comparisons may be interesting to check out (at the end)

I haven't played crysis, the level looks good and all, and I bet it fits crysis like a glove

The post mortem however is super interesting to read, great job on that!

Hehe, soon enough my friend, but I gotta finish a little something I'm still cooking up, another short puzzle-based crysis map!

Great stuff, Corwin. Loved the postmortem too. Can't wait to check this out over the weekend.

Why is Corwin not working here already?

Heh, I guess it's in part cause I'm stupid enough to wanna try and "be prepared" before I apply, although I may never feel ready enough

I think you have several indicators in this thread that you are in fact ready to at least do an honest attempt at an application

Who knows, maybe you'll get paid doing what you love in a couple of months, instead of what you are doing now

Thanks for the advices, like I said though, I'm just finishing up a small project, not the type that's going to take months, I should be done pretty soon. Then I'll worry about getting employed

I started work at Crytek without ever opening Sandbox...although I guess you'd be more Level Design rather than Design like me.

Furyo also joined Crytek without never even open Sandbox. It's a very nice editor, and very easy to learn too, takes 2 or 3 weeks tops.

I didn't mean to say I needed more practice with the editor, I just want to raise my chances to impress a possible employer by adding variety to my portfolio. Since I'm fluent with the editor, it's going smoothly and I'll start looking for a job this summer. You'll hear more about all that in due time, since I'll be asking you all artistic types for advices pretty soon!
