/edit i disagree on the "why would anakin build a robot that looks exactly like the mass produced protocol droids that we see everywhere" thing the answer is quit simple because you can see it everywhere its way easier to build something complex if you have lots and lots of reference ! he probably just reverse engineered those fuckers that are laying all around his bosses garage ...

I remember watching this movie when I was about 11 years old. It made no sense to me then and it makes no sense to me now.

Just took the time to watch through all of the parts, and god damn it's brilliant. It's spot on.

i also love how people comment on narrative in depth elements without first knowing the theory behind those elements. i got kinda bored through the first part, haven't watched any of the others yet. apart from the slapstick humor in his verbal dyslexia, what more is there to this?

EDIT: cross that. the self parody in the second part is a subtle social commentary on ignorant people attempting to review things without the slighest insight into their fields.
