VGA 2009

The VGA's are good for one thing this year and that's the Halo Reach preview. Its a bit of a BS show if you ask me.

Is that the awards show that had a category called "Most addictive game fueled by Mountain Dew" (or similar)?

I don't understand (well, I guess I understand, I just don't agree with) how the voice acting/best cast categories are filled mostly with movie games. Best cast and best fe/male lead; imho all three should go to Uncharted 2, with the exception of maybe Mark Hammill as the Joker in Arkham Asylum.

Can't vote my opinion on GOTY just yet because I haven't played AC2 or Dragon Age to its full potential.

It's pretty funny seeing all the comments on the PC GOTY video complaining about PvZ getting nominated instead of MW2 or whatever. Anyone who doesn't get why PvZ is up there with those other good games never bothered to play PvZ, IMO.

Hmmm yeah, I love Forza 3 but I definitely have had more fun with DiRT 2. Then again, I find it kinda weird putting them in the same category, since one is a simulator and the other is definitely knee-deep in arcadey racer territory.

Guess they couldn't be bothered to have more racing categories

Plus who really cares about the VGA's? Their main pull is their exclusive trailers, not who ends up winning their awards.

so far GOTY for me is unchartered 2, although arkham was good as well. i still have to complete borderlands and some of the other games coming out this winter...

This year was crap as always. So stupid. I watched for the Halo Reach trailer and the feed cut 30 seconds into it anyway
