You might also give it a try with a different race/class combination. I started with human noble and hatet it. Then i started over with elve mage and it was a lot better right from the start.

Well what can i say ? this game took me an entire weekend of my life; i thought i could get over it during those two days, and after 15 hours i only completed 20% of the game and visited 50% of the locations.

I found it damn awesome from the start personally, but i happen to endure medieval fantasy pretty well usually. Especially because it has an universe of its own; but you can't stop thinking LOTR sometimes

The combat system is pretty cool, even if it's more easy to retreat to a door entrance and wait the ennemy with traps and area spells than being surrounded by enemies in the open.

My favorite characters so far are : Ogrhen, Morrigan(but our relationship isn't going anywhere....... she gave me the ring, but i'm actually trying to get a relationship with leliana instead; i don't know if she will take it well hahahahaa), Wynne(not very fun but still has her heal abilities), alistair, dog, zevran, leliana and sten (to whom i told to get the fuck out of my company)

Great game overall. The final area seemed to be a bit too stretched out, and the last boss was a bit too easy compared to the fights leading up to it. I lost my rogue and healer halfway through and tanked the final phase down with just my warrior, Morrigan, and pots. The coolest part of the game by far was

. Really creative, and most of the areas in there were laid out so well for tactically approaching the encounters. The second half of the Orzammar chain was pretty dope too.

But morrigan is definitely one great character full of complexities,(also for the design) one that you rarely see in a videogame; You spend the whole game trying to find out if there is a heart (rather a weak spot) in that cold, evasive, calculative and mysterious woman; to only be left with interrogations. I found it refreshing . Kudos to the guys behind the scenario

Went trough all the origin story's and probably play 2-3 different characters and make some different choices.

Save to say Bioware is my new fav dev I should grab Mass Effect but i'm cheap and waiting for a bundle deal with ME2

My favorite chars, Morrigan, Wynne, Lelliana, Allistar and dog.

Ogren was the last to join my party but his somments could sometimes make me laugh, wel and shale because I has issues to get the dlc working,

Shale is popular in my reroll, probably because his damage is a bit overpowered at my low level, his banging on the floor alone can kill enemy's so I send him in first as the friendly fire can also kill my party if they are hurt

I bought the game this afternoon on Steam and its downloading. I've been reading and hearing a lot of great things about this game so I could no longer resist. I think I'll have quite a good time with this game tonight.

Just finished Dragon Age: Origins tonight...such a great epic game! Last battle was long and hard, but oh so satisfying. I think I nearly played 10-12 hours today lol....been a long while since I've done that. Anyways, onto Awakening!

damn right, I even prefered it to Mass Effect 2 ;O

Hmm, I dunno if I'd say better than Mass Effect 2 or not. DA definitely has better dialogue and tougher choices to make, but ME2 was such a huge improvement over ME2 that I was like wahhh. However, I felt more attached to the characters in ME2 than in DA, which made the last mission in ME2 all the more powerful. I almost didn't mind if some of them died in DA lol.
