Hey I've been experiencing very frequent lock-ups on fallout (360). I've had two only today
I searched about it and many people seemed to have the same problem but it's hard to trust common players assumptions on the problem. Have any of you guys experienced them as well? I tried clearing my xbox cache but that didn't help either. I don't want to believe it's my xbox failing since it's pretty knew (about 3 months old).

Never happend to me (spent around 120 hrs in the game). Maybe its a heat issue? Isnt it like summer now in brazil?

I've had those! I tried clearing the cache too, didn't help...next thing that happened was red ring of death. Better say goodbye now...

That's what you get for not buying the PC version...

That's what I fear. But since my xbox has a jasper mobo (which reportedly brings failure rate down to 1% or so) that may not be the case. Was your system locking up with other games as well?

i experienced no problems with flal out 3 on 360 except the occasional scripting bug or the fact that 2 of the bobble heads are hidden before a point of no return * shaking fist *
invested about 80 hours in it if iremember corectly

Try to copy your game to HDD. Maybe it's a read error of some ambient sound or some shit...
-
Just play it on PC man. Way better.

Played it on the 360 too, maybe had two freeze ups while playing it. Nothing too persistent tho D: . Around launch it was the PS3 version that was a horrid mess (Something with people on your friendlist coming online would completely crush the framerate and such), but that was fixed. Not exactly the most sturdy piece of software it seems

Yeah, the PS3 is always the console that hurts the most when running multiplatform games. Blame Sony for that.
-
Yeah 2 years ago that was the case HP...
I hade a few lockups too in fallout, when going into the pipboy

For those who are experiencing the same problem I think I found the solution: clearing the game cache (hold RB + LB + X while the game is booting on 360). Loading times are a bit longer now but at least I can play the game without it crashing on me every 40 minutes. Deleting it from the HDD and running from the disc seemed to help as well (maybe some of the data got corrupted when I installed it in the HDD? who knows).
