whether or not this is old, i seriously question the premise of this mod and the minds of the people developing it... where's that pounding head against brick wall smiley when you need it?

This totally makes me want to buy doom3 instantly.

My last computer died while I was playing Doom 3, so I'm afraid of reinstalling it for no good reason (Same thing happened last time a computer died on me, I had just installed Firefox less then a day before it called it quits and I was paranoid about reinstalling it on the new one for a couple weeks. My friend eventually told me he was gonna stop talking to me unless I upgraded from IE ).

This makes it really tempting to play it though. I've still got Final Doom on my computer and play it every once in a while.

It's quite good, worth a playthough, but at the end the original doom is still better. I think the better lighting model is actually a negative. I love the sectional ray lighting (forget the actual name) look of the doom series.
