    hydeph, this isnt eot. eot died when postman got in puberty.

    not all feedback may be given most tacticallly, but pls ignore that and filter out the constructive part. its your map, placing pics here comes with the risk of people not liking it, plus:

    - it looks a bit strange to watermark your pics with an H while 1) you dont even bother to write a short explaination 2) the pics are taken in hammer 3) the map is far from finnished...

    - theres no pissing on hl1 leveldesign, in fact, most of the reactions ive seen are positive, and i agree

    now, get back to your map

    We don't shit all over the HL1 maps. Just the ones that look bad. The bar has been rasied on HL1 maps significantly over the last few years (mostly since Nightwatch). There's more you can do with HL1 than you have done with what you showed.

    The reason people, as you put it, "shit all over" your map is because its uncompiled and unimpressive. Post more screenshots when you have the bulk of the detailed work finished and compiled.

    Posting things like "in short, fuck you, fuck off, eat shit and die." around here will not help you get better constructive criticism. But then again if it did, would you really benifit from it anyway?

    You need to use more rockwalls in your maps KFs, so its not all metal. It could be the new tremor.

    HL1 maps doesnt look great as they used to look, mostly because that game engine is 8years old, and most of published maps is to source.. But still, that map is too simple, it uses HL.wad and it is aim/fy or something else like that, it cant be good.. Add much more detail, change textures, COMPILE IT and then post pics again, maybe we can say something POSITIVE..

    My 3 first props ingame. The skins suck (except perhaps for the bucket:P), they look more like some parchment or scroll than rock :/

    Would a bucket last that long?

    Did the egyptians even make buckets like that?

    They look more suited to a pirate or viking setting.
