    Exactly, 45 minutes in the key binding screens seems about right to me. It's the most puzzling, illogical and frustrating control menu I've ever had the displeasure of using.

    QFT. You raped it so hard again that it in no way makes it better. It almost looks like a hard compressed jpg, but with a filesize of 400kb then I doubt that is the case:D

    Nexus - the sharpen tool should only be used when it is needed. I don't know how those shots looked when they came straight out of the game (I've never taken screenshots in BF2), but you have gone too far with the sharpening here. Far too far. I'm sure you can notice the artifacts that oversharpening has introduced to the images - just look at the trees and it is hard to miss.

    If you want to do your best in presenting your work, then try turning off all of the interfering screen clutter such as weapon models and the HUD. Its an easy step, but one that helps out quite a bit. If you do feel that the captured screenshots are too blurry or bland, then you can do little touch ups in photoshop with contrast/brightness tweaks or a very small amount of sharpening, but going too far doesn't do your work any favours.

    IMO photshopping screenshots of your maps is like false advertising. I remember one HL mapper released a series of beautiful screenshots back in the day (when I didn't really know much) that looked so crisp and detailed. I later found out he'd used PS to eye-candy his stuff up.

    To me it's pointless. It'd be like photoshopping your photo and posting it on a dating website. It may fool people initially, but they'll only want to kick you in the balls when they meet you and see you've been misleading them.

    hello guys

    iam following this forum for a long time now but i wasnt registered till now

    i just want to pimp my new map is it final now and will be very soon available for download ! its named aim_station ... i know i know aim maps are not so popular and some of u will close the browser as soon as they read this sentence lol but pls take a look at the pictures and the map !!

    i just wanted to learn some more things befor starting a big "normal" map

    i put alot of work into that little map (maybe a lil bit too much)

    Looks pretty good, but theres not much cover is there? Could be awesome if the room was bigger, a bit brighter and bit more cover

    How did you make that panorama?

    your rays look a bit akward you might want to work on those before makign it final. take my newest creation for example . i worked on the rays for jamesL's awp_monopoly map.
