    Why do i have a feeling that something is missing, because it should be brighter there because of lamp. If you want brightness to be like this then you should make the lamp broken or something, or else it makes impression like this

    Damn, that doesn't matter. Hight quality russian made lamp. Made me laugh. Lamps brightness looks like 100W but it doesnt light anything but itself I dunno, lots of people has eye for this, and then they become sketchy because of shitload minor errors like this

    Does anyone have any idea what to fill this wall with? I searched so many references and tried to sketch something out but everything feels odd, I'm not sure about some windows there either it looks kinda shit with because I only have windows on 2 sides.

    I don't know about posters it will probably look bad, this is some sort of big "lobby" or reception room. I am thinking of maybe making some 3D logo later on or something like that, 2D overlay didn't look too bad either but resolution is shit when stretched to a proper size for the wall

    I have lots of big empty walls in the map I'm working on. Things I found to fill the voids:

    - Artworks (make your own!)

    - Cabinets

    - (unopenable) Doors

    - Vents

    - Chairs/Lounges

    - Large plasma TV


    The is very good for some of this.

    Are you saying they are too distracting or your worried about people getting stuck on them? Doesn't look all that troubling to me?

    Counterstrike isn't quite a game that should have rainbows all over the place, because it is fast pace action game. So less environment makes it easier to recognize enemy from just a wood plank

    Call of Duty and other games like that are not so fast paced so there's more detail.

    Sure it looks way more better and realistic, but for some it is bad experience.

    Yeah I get ya, some official maps have more props than others, the key is to cluster them in groups - so it's less noisy, also, official maps at least try to lower the contrast of small objects either by placement or by material work. It's no different than a deathmatch arena, In fact I would say a game like UT uses even less props, the key is to understand where you get away with it, and where you don't, each game has it's own guides. Still, back to the original shot, it's not as bad as let on, could be improved though.

    Reworking my UT4 Arena Capture the flag map. Getting a feel for the art style now. so its a full blown game mode and a map to go with it. XD


    Waiting for a work visa provides ample free time.
