    Pretty rough actually, but it's getting in shape.

    I've released it as 1.00, but still think it has more to go, so I guess it still counts as WIP. Plus, I can't post in the Work Release forum, so here goes. This is de_typhoon, a defuse map for CS:GO.

    More screenshots are in this imgur album, or on the Steam Workshop. I'm about to push an update to remove some exploits, and add some detail, I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on what needs improving?

    Right now the things that instantly stand out to me are:


    Its a bit blocky

    Some of the surfaces are quite repetitive, could use some overlays etc to remove that.

    The yellow line on the road is very strange in how jittery it looks.

    In the last screenshot you could add some lights to make it more appealing, streetlights carhead lights or windows that are lit.
    And I agree with Vilham that some areas are a bit blocky.

    Thats right. I've got a refraction shader in the gutters to simulate running water, and the road line is sometimes under that shader.. It looks alright in the real thing, but I'm still not entirely happy with it.

    Hmmm, that area of the map could use a bit more lighting. I'll look at doing that for the next update.

    Finally got a full detail pass! Still have a few rough edges to smooth out, but I'm pretty proud of this.

    Got multiplayer working all nice and smooth. Choppy framerate since I'm running on two clients when recording.

    haha maybe? the character was made by two friends after I asked for a cute little creature...


    I only did the animations and scripting for it, but I guess I will change the colors to red and blue depending on which team they are on

    Looks cool! You should create a thread and talk more about what platforms you are targeting etc. Or maybe we should have a WIP game thread hmm...

    Thanks! Yeah I was thinking about making a WIP game thread as this one is mostly for levels.

    Will definitely create a thread for Mole Odyssey once it's on the verge of getting released.

    And on that topic, currently we are aiming for android and if it's popular we will go for iOS too.
