Some of you already are professionals (well i hope to be D: probably not) Since this is my first post and i didnt really know where i should post ill just post here and show most of my work ive done up till this point.

This is a Fringe inspired Level i did (my most recent) for the contest on facepunch "lovable entertainment locations"

hey LATTEH, looks like you're well on your way! although your lighting does look a littlebit dark / high contrast sometimes (especially in the lovable entertainment location).

btw: i'm not familiar with unreal engine and i was wondering for some time now how that fog in killing floor is generated. would you care to elaborate?

If i remember right in unreal 2.5 (and lower i think i havnt used any of them) you use the zoneinfo actor.

I really like the overall atmosphere you achieved, but the contrast between light and dark is a little too much. There comes a point where you simply draw too much attention to lights rather than the level itself.

    Anyway welcome and good stuff

thank you guys for the feedback. ill try to remember to not make my shadows overly dark anymore (with the KF level it looks different ingame) im gonna post my stuff here more often, most people just say it looks good and dont give me any feedback. so thank you guys!

Although I recenlty joined, I have been looking for a website where I could get second opinions on my maps.

Heres a sample on one map im working on for a server on Synergy (Hl2 Source). Any sort of comments will be accepted.

MAN IT S SO CUTE awesome

LATTEH, it's looks quite cool, but yeah there's too much contrast in the lighting, try to not use too much black, more of a color tainted black ! Your lighting tends to be a bit "blobby" as it seems you were using only omni lights; try to get more lines with the shadows in there

    That's awesome.

Funny, we had a business project in school and our chosen business was retrofitted shipping containers as motels. We were trying to pack 8 people in there though (think Japanese sleeping tubes).

I wouldn;t mind living in your version though

Are you planning to do a full house layout. It would be interesting to see how the kitchen would be handled in such a narrow space.
