Map looks very cool Josh, but I think it's way too open, 4 people could easily stand up on the bed and keep reloading. You should put the start point with ammo somewhere more difficult to defend.

I'll probably fill in some of the open space once I actually test it with some real people but the bed is probably one of the more exposed areas in the map due to the fact zombies can climb up all sides of the bed.

I mean good job on getting it working. But you just took years of gameplay tweaking and refinement and threw it out the window with that map.

Then again, I dont know if you are serious with that thing or if its just a test

Uh what? It honestly doesn't play too much differently than lighthouse.

Regardless of how it plays, it's always cool to splash out and just create something for the fun of it I thought it looked cool, maps like that are perfect for small LANs.

You could do some cool stuff with some of the items typically found in a bedroom too, i.e. flip the texture on the TV halfway through to some zombie related pic, have the monitor smash and become a spawning point for tanks/hordes etc.

Exactly. I made this map to be something a little different than what was already out. I'm planning on a few mid game events that should mix it up a little bit. I'm also looking into a small campaign where you're this size.

Here is an update for my rFactor track:

    External Content www.youtube.com
Content embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.
Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy.

Managed to get a shitload of stuff done. Remember i started with that over the easter weekend and most things you see are custom.

Things left on my to do list:

    - half a dozen props and half a dozen textures

    - get some decent lighting and shadows in

(actualy the current lighting is nice but its borrowed from another track)

    - performance optimizations

    - smoothen some of the geometry (pit lane is quite bumpy)

    - get the AI and rules in

    - cameras

    - debugging

Been playing with the lighting of my TF2 map cp_factory. It was bright before, much like 2forts lighting though I wanted something a bit different.

Oh so very nice! I've played some rFactor and I know it has a large following. The track looks great! How about showing us some of the custom stuff in stills. Everything in the video goes by so fast

That's really neat. I hope somewhere, somehow, the player can reach the roof outside those windows.

Figured I might as well make a video rather than another screenshot, stole the lighting from ep2, need to fix the shadow colour.

Hey all, it been a long time that I posted here (as Interloper's forums, I'm always here to check good creations but I don't post... :/ you can blame me ^^ ).

I come back to show you my new version of cs_siege.

Remember, I built cs_siege_2007 and it didn't have good welcome because I used some Hl2 Ep 2 mdls in a Counter Strike map.

So I decided to change that to make an entire new ambiance with new mdls to have a better 2009 version.

But I also changed a lot of little things about gameplay to increase it. You'll see

Currently this version is in test but It can be released soon! (I released a b1 version but I think it's better to don't show you that cause a lot of things have changed lol).

    Well, screens now

Oh yeah, last thing, I removed the details sprites, don't worry about that
