Wow, ImageShack is one seriously piece of shit site. It just threw up a pop-up ad every single time I clicked on one of those screenshots to see the full-size version.

    More like never again.

sigh that's what I've been saying for like.. ever.

the map has a really nice atmosphere but I would work on the destruction - in some areas it still isn't very believable

    Sorry about that.

I use firefox so it doesn't give me any pop ups.

Don't murder your cpu ! Convert some Brushwork in model like the pipes or other detailed part of your level.

I'm sure the texture tile wouldn't look too noticeable in-game. It depends on the lighting really.

Anything with a flat texture that isn't a floor looks gross.

Anyways, I whipped this up at a LAN party with my friends, its just a portfolio shot or whatever.

its pretty generic, it rounds all the bases but honestly it begs for the "meh".

some crit would just be the repetition of the electrical boxes on the left, the security camera looking at nothing and the general blandness of the scene. It reminds me of some deep dark corner of some urban layout brought up to minimally pretty standards.

Plus you're using imageshack, which doesn't make me click.

I think its looking pretty solid JP. You've really nailed the nice weather too, I wish there was weather like that here

Keep on expanding it, and maybe you'll have a level for insurgency beta2?

Toyed with different lighting for the forest this morning, still not sure which I prefer, gonna leave the lighting part until last I think. Been detailing the forest a bit more this week and adding more noticeable paths which lead around the map. finishing off the detailing tonight i think and then working on some optimisations before I start on the river and waterfall

Keep the autumn look, I think it looks a lot moreb beautiful than the previous ones, then again those were nice as well.
