That's what I was going for.

It'll look more to scale once I put props in there

Little preview of a fun xmas project. I will post more shots when I have more done. Me and my house mate have a lot more models to make.

Did you model the tree as well?

Makes me feel all christmasy inside.

The tree is a great big model. Each layer of branches has a area clipped off that the player can move around and fight on. The tree itself is in the corner of a large living room. The rest of the room is still wip, I will post more shots when I get some more of the modeling done.

This is the start of a idea I had the other day.I'm trying to do a Prince of Persia type of level. There will be lots of areas where you can jump on out-of-place rocks for short cuts or good items. I also want to make a nice plant/vine texture and use that as ladders. If I don't do that then I'll have to settle with either slants or stairs.

Onboard: That looks sweet! I really like the entrances and the roof. That roof on the center part looks like it was a bitch to do. Great job, looks like an insane asylum.

Very nice OnboardError, you should take these skills to Maya or

Max for building such sweet building architecture.

Looks like a nice start Ooj

I used env_ember and a low brightness green light for the weapon locations. I'll probably create a small texture (probably 128x128) and use that on a brush so that all of this sits on some sort of magical looking tile. I think I'll only use it for weapons.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have a break from classes so I'll probably have this sucker done a little after Christmas. I'm trying to do 100% custom content, so hopefully I can learn how to model a bit before finishing this up.

I like the sound of that.
