Just got back from it. I say it in 3D, its going to be hard for anything to top this movie visually. One of the most immersion movies I have ever seen.

Saw it on Imax 3d last night. This is indeed one of the best movies ever made. Story was simple but pretty good anyway and everything else was simply outstanding. Movie of the decade maybe? Avatar rules

Just came back - it's an awesome movie. The last couple of weeks i felt like picking up leveldesign again, but now i've lost all hope i can ever build anything really cool. Took me half an hour to focus on the real world afterwards. Anybody that hasn't seen it: go!

My guess is unobtainium is a great fuel source which explains why this private group of mercinaries and contractors are so interested in getting it. Judging by the name it's fairly hard to get and if their the only company selling it they'd be very powerful back on Earth.

    unobtainium

and you're just using that to substitute the plot device.

I now finally also got around to see it, having really high expectations after having heard so much rave about it. It started out a bit slow but then it just went on to be one of the best frikkin movie experiences ever! I was so blown away when I got out of the cinema and I could not at all get my hands down. I don't think such a relatively predictable story has ever been told so well.

I noticed a similarity between this film's soundtrack and the 'Enemy at the Gates' soundtrack... After a quick google search, low and behold... The same composer did both film scores!

Just found this video on youtube...
