    I have a few friends who watched it, some of them were pretty sceptical about the movie, but after watching it they went straight to amazon and buy the art book.

    saw it yesterday !

    i expected it to be a complete shit fest but than felt like a fool for doubting cameron

    ... its a good movie ! not as good as most peopel make it out to be now ... but its absolutly worth the ticket price !

    I think my expectations are so low that I almost can't get disappointed, but saying that alone is having expectations for being at least decent I guess, as decent as space smurfs can be

    Anyway, if nothing else then I guess its gonna be impressive from a technical point of view, plus I've never a seen a 3D movie before so that'll be fun

    It's worth watching, really. Pretty good Sci-fi stuff for a Hollywood movie, the art and setting is amazing and the script isn't full of shit either. It really is a gem if you keep in mind that nothing good usually leaves hollywood to feast in ignorant souls. :wink:

    I'm going to murder their whole P/R department though if it comes to their mind to make a sequel. They won't dare

    Was pretty good, an absolute masterpiece technically, amazing just how well they had CG blend with live action. It was also the first time I saw a 3D movie and it was pretty spectacular, most times you wouldn't really notice it that much but then there'd be scenes with multiple layers and things going in front of the middle and it just makes the picture so alive. The subtitles were really fucking annoying though. There were obviously danish subtitles throughout, and in the beginning I would look down at them once in a while, but I just had a really hard time focusing on them and it ended up hurting my eyes so I stopped it. Didn't really them at all either, only the scenes where the space smurfs talked in their native tongue so it was alright.

    Anyway, not gonna spoil anything but its a pretty simple story, nothing that extraordinary but good enough, and I guess in these hyper-green times its a popular point to repeat, Gaia, environmental harmony and all that stuff

    I will admit that I thought it was about 30 minutes too long, its always the worst feeling to get with movies, but it just felt like there was a bunch of stuff that could easily have been cut down a bit.

    Overall a good movie, absolutely amazing on the technical side and a must watch for that alone.

    i was thoroughly impressed. i had been thinking of writing something similar to this, so for me it was really rewarding to watch. i would watch this again and i will probably show this to my children as a moral lesson, that is how good this thing is. also very entertaining.

    Most immersive movie I have ever seen. Story was typical and was alot like dances with wolves.... extremely like dances with wolves \:

    Awesome visuals, i wish i could live in pandora tbh ;P
