I can understand why tho. People who see this expect another horror action flick but what they get to see is a typical Jeunet movie. Dark comedy with beautiful backdrops. This doesn't compute with the most fans of the franchise.

Alien: Resurrection was alright, if anything much better than Alien 3.

Well it hasn't worked for the last 2 dozen shit movies with an Alien in it. Can't argue Giger's vaginal and phallic inspired shit isn't played out yet, either.

I think he knows what hes doing, hopes*. There is no way we will see a jar jar binks or a kid swinging down a vine with an army of monkeys.

Body of Lies was awesome too, American Gangster on the other hand was a bit meh, imho.

You need to explain or better yet link to a good explanation of what makes alien and aliens so good. Considering the amount of fans there should be a page. The problem with searching for my self is that Alien is a fairly used word today, so it is hard to find.

So, if you watch a film, when it's over, your mind sometimes forms thoughts, these are often referred to as opinions. Once you are comfortable with these, you post them on internet message boards to show the world you matter.
