Yeah but isn't PC gamer stuck in 1995? :santahurg:

They should only review PC exclusive games, like Farmville and Mission Improbable

    NO

WHATEVER PCGAMER SAYS IS LAW. BECAUSE THEY RATED IT 55% I NOW ENJOYED IT LESS THAN I INITIALLY ENJOYED IT

I'm not really sure why it scored so low, metacritic PC reviews are generally positive, they said that they encountered different problems on three different machines and hated the pacing of checkpoints and the way Max can't move in some situations because he's glued to the wall.

I've still yet to play it...

PSA - If you haven't picked up the game yet, amazon is selling Max Payne 3 steam codes for $40 this month. Could have sworn they were going for $30 a week ago, though. Also not sure if it is restricted to any countries, but worth a look.

I'll add to this that the game is 33% off on Steam now. I loved Max Payne I & II. Will this game let me relive these experiences or ruin my childhood memories?

    Also: Holy bazooka..hi Livinghell! :derp:

buy it, it's awesome as shit. really polished experience, incredibly smooth and well-crafted. an absolute 95% in my opinion. people are being bitchy cry-baby faggots as usual because their nostalgia goggles are on so tight the blood is being restricted from flowing to their brains.

if it wasn't called max payne 3 it'd be in the middle of a cumshot gangbang with journalists lining up to douse it with their rotten impotent seed.

it has a heavy cinematic feel and you are not 100% in control from start to finish, but big deal, when shit like babby's first foreigner murder simulator sells millions on their bi-weekly release schedules do you really expect something like this to get rave reviews. i think you'll see this go down as one of the games people look back on in 5 years and wonder why it wasn't a bigger hit.

Just got to the favela level and was completely blown away. That has got to be one of the most impressive bits of environment art I have ever seen in my life. All the nuances, the small details, I don't think brazilians would be able to represent Brazil better than Rockstar. Every small corner has a purpose and thought was put into it. For example glass shards on top of walls (a cheap way to prevent people from breaking into your house). That shit screams suburban Brazil. The funk party (weird parties usually held in favelas with explicit music:

), the cellulite on the whores etc...It makes me happy to see so much thought and research going into a videogame. Rockstars are masters at this.

<3 this song, can't think of something better to represent a favela!

my kid barfed at 9 am today, exactly 1 hour before her birthday party, thereby cancelling said birthday party...leading to a long day of family stomach flu chain booting and migraine headaches. To celebrate, I generated the following incredibly lame Boromir meme to fit the thread. Enjoy.

Now time to go back to cuddling the toilet as I retch up some more bile. gg

Bit of a bump, but I think this game deserves it!

Played through it this week, and had a BLAST! Exactly a up-my-alley kind of game. It has some rough edges, gameplay is not as dynamic and fluid as MP1 and 2, too much cover gameplay for my taste, and the controlls are very stiff, but fuck me I had a blast!

Also, the environment art is second to none, I specially loved playing in the
