Looking for a new screen

    Hey I am looking for a bigger screen on my desktop (my current one is 17") that I can hook my PC up to as well as my 360. Pushing a button to switch between the two would be very convenient. If I recall correctly Mr. Mazzel got a setup like this? I guess in that case we aren't even talking about PC screens anymore but small, flatscreen TVs? I just want to play console from my desk chair, my regular TV is too small for being so far away from my couch, also it's a CRT, so no HD goodness for me as of now It would be convenient to have a bigger screen to do anything PC related too of course. To be honest I have no idea when it comes to this, I need help guys. Has anybody got some recommendations from personal experience?

    I use this as my desktop (DVI), 360 (VGA), PS3 (HDMI), and PS2 (Composite) screen. Great and versatile for the price. In fact, now that my secondary monitor (samsung) just got a row of dead pixels about 1/3rd of the way down the screen, I'm tempted to pick up a second one to replace it). There's cheaper models with the same setup, but less input options (my setup still has an unused DVI, S-video, and Component inputs), so if you don't plan on adding any more consoles and keep it just your PC and your 360, you could settle for a cheaper/larger model that only has the connections you need.

    Aye, I got a 24" Dell monitor with their previous design, and like you said Frie yeah I did use that for quite a while as a PC/Console monitor. After I got the PS3 I really didn't think it did it justice anymore though, but it is great for a pretty compact gaming setup, if you don't wanna go for a full on larger sized TV.

    I'm really tempted to get a second 24" monitor for my home PC, since the price is basically 1/5 of what I paid for min a few years back. My PC probably own be able to handle it tho D:

    that dell is awesome, way better image that any monitors nowadays, but It's veeeery expensive!

    I'd go for a samsung for a good quality / price relation

    Funny though, that samsung was the monitor I was going to buy instead of the dell, but I got the dell instead because it had a better warranty/return policy on stuck/dead pixels.

    make sure the monitor supports 1:1 pixel scaling. mine doesnt :/ its worth spending some extra money on a good monitor like the dell one.

    If you don't work with dual monitor, than yes maybe a Dell is a good investment... but still, i would never pay 800€ for a fucking screen!

    You can go with Packard Bell too if all else fails. My 22" still serves me very well to this day, with the x360 plugged onto it. This is the old one which doesn't have HDMI, but I think their latest ones have that.

    hehe.. my roomate is running them in dual monitor...

    I cry everytime i see them in remembrance of my dead one :,(

    Can't afford a 750 euro screen though, I had a look at my buddy's 26" samsung one yesterday and it looked really slick. I think I'll throw my money at that one.

    Lol, well it aint no 43 inch, but I've got a Samsung Syncmaster 2443bwx, its 24 inch and claims a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio... I got it for like $350 it only has DVI and VGA, but I just bought the xbox VGA cables and a HDMI to DVI adapter for the playstation and I'm set, I just swap my pc into the slot I'm not using pretty much. I love it though, everything looks so nice, but then again I came from a 17 inch Sony triniton CRT that weighed enough to be filled with cement...
