Congrats man! Must be cool to have a shipped map

I haven't started the game since a week after launch or so though because of the hackers.
Have they addressed the problems? Like... the one where you can edit gamefiles to get unlimited energy etc.
EDIT: Search for it and while it is not explicitly stated, all indicators seem to point at it.

Damn you EA!! We don't need another platform FFS!!!
I really hope that doesn't mean no more updates on Crysis 2 steam. Still waiting for that SDK...

It better not, though I wont be surprised if the version on Steam gets the back seat while the other platforms are priority.

retarded.

"Hey guys lets piss off the largest group of reliable PC game consumers and hope this results in them using this substandard service of ours that we sort of get a better return on"
Not like anyone actually cares about all the features that comes with Steamworks integration right OH WAIT-
-
dumb shit is dumb
-
Hey guys lets do the exact same thing valve does and get so much praise for, because we have all the monetary incentive and the IP's to leverage it. Surely the community will praise us, and isn't just full of retarded monkey boys that don't realise steam is only convenient as a monopoly and has been purposefully designed in such a way. Or at least they will petition valve to allow their games to be released on rival services instead of giving the bad example of hogging them to get more customers.
-
whoops ea, looks like you lost a customer. no way i am going to install more bullshit just to play games.
-
Pulling your games from the only DD service that isn't a steaming pile of crap? Just to preserve your sales margins a bit? Dumb move, EA.
-
-
Will never use anything but Steam for PC digital distribution.

Gamersgate and GOG are both really good, actually, and have a ton of games Steam doesn't (weird eastern european shit and old shit, respectively). But nobody can come close to matching the features steamworks gives a game. And nobody's gonna view making a game unavailable where it previously was for sale in a positive light. And I've yet to hear one single solitary good thing about EADM/Origin.
-
I like EADM, you buy and download the game and that's it. really easy. Doesn't have to be on all the time for your game to work. Really clean interface, really fast startup.
-
yay for competition and yay for other products than steam because steam is laggy! (dont get me wrong, it like steam, i just dont like the lag it has)
-
... laggy?
-
They're probably running machines from 2004.

-
What lag?
