Aye grats on the release guys.

It's funny, haven't been especially interested in it while it was in development, but now that its close them I'm actually getting really excited for it. I'm soo in the mood for a Michael Bay shooter just about now (or Thursday I guess)

The demo run smooth on my now almost 5 year old PC (only upgraded the gfx card once to a 9800GT).

I'm working on a CE3 game now too and no performance problems with the sdk either.

USA getting the release first from a game made in the EU.

God I fucking hate this shit. Why does the EU always get shit released later? I'm glad I'm not in Australia.

Cause retail. The traditional retail game "new game day" of the week in America is arbitrarily an earlier day in the week than the EU. That's it.

    From IGN:

Crysis 2 on Xbox 360 has taken the crown for best graphics in a console game. It's well animated and the effects are great, but light is always the star of the show.

While I had little doubt after playing the PC version of the original, that's really saying something to steal the crown from God of War 3.

Wasn't uncharted 2 the king of console graphics?

    Isn't this just a reviewer's opinion?

I hate myself for having missed the pre-order discount on Steam. It's 59 USD now (not implying that the game isn't worth 59, but for that price I'd rather get the retail version!)

I never saw a discount on Steam, just some lame multiplayer unlock gimmick. Think I'll hold off on Crysis 2 as I still don't know if the editor is/will be included or they're just going to skip it for the CE3 SDK.

Yeah, there was no discount, it was 59.99$ the whole time. Just played through the beginning of the game...quite fun so far and the graphics are faptastic, they make me cry. Btw, HP, did you make those yellow containers they use everywhere? Reminds me of your work =P?

I did some of the hard surface shit, (like the green ammo crates) but actually those containers are not mine no... They are yellow cos it's chris favorite color btw!
