Crysis 2

I like it, plays great on Hardcore settings (my computer has the works) and looks pretty good (presumably not as good as the campaign will.) I'm not sure how often I'll play it when I buy the game as I'm excited for the single player portion as well as trying to dissect how Crytek made all their assets. Let's not forget Sandbox 3, too.

I have the same setup, and the game runs smooth as butter when on GAMER graphics preset

Anyone getting in without problems at the moment?

UPDATE: managed to reg an account on the website (not ingame) but can't log in... gah

Demo downloaded @ 3MB per second, but I left the make account on for 3 hours and it still hadn't finished. Honestly fucking retarded making an account for a demo, and with a shitty service like gamespy that has never worked properly.

I too have teh same setup (but with a 9800GT) and the game runs super smooth on this machine.

The engine is much more optimized than Cryengine 2

Finally got in after recreating my account.

But had to go to work so I could only play for like 7 minutes.

However, that was enough to give me nausea as the FOV is ridiculously low and the menu is all wobbly.

Despite being unable to make an account, I must say that I like the 3D menu. It's very cool.

I'm very surprised by this GameSpy integration considering that shit is surely a complete relic by now and has been made completely obsolete by Steam? Also Crysis 2 has been marketed quite a bit through Steam. Weird.

That's a complete fucking mystery to me too. I dislike when surrounding bullshit prevents you from enjoying a probably excellent core product.

PSY: I did like it for a couple of minutes. But when you have to click a lot of back and forth once you're logged in it's just... annoying.
