Yeah, but thankfully we're going for a nice mixture of color correction styles throughout the game, not washed out blue like this trailer _all_ the time ^^ You can literally take in-game screenshots, edit them in Photoshop then tell the game to load the post process settings! Really cool IMO and it works.

Yeah! Seen a presentation of this on GDC Europe. Was very impressive

Good to know! And that sounds pretty cool.

Yeah, think I'll use color grading from now on and not just say overlay hehe.

I hope Crytek show us the console version of their Cryengine3. I'm very curious to see the PC version of Crysis 2!

At the moment, there is no gameplay videos from Crysis 2, so those comparison screenshots are senseless.

And that screenshot from "Crysis 2" is not exactly from Crysis 2, it's a screencap from the CryEngine3 video released a few months ago.

Yeah though it was to early to share my opinion but kinda fell that Crytek gave up the PC...

The way they simplified the nanosuit, the weapon's view (more closer like weapon's view on console), I mean I'm not kinda numb as console player!!!

Just because Crytek is making games for consoles as well now, doesn't mean that Crytek gave up on PC, oh no...

If you've been following the media / Interviews, like those interviews to Cevat, and Nathan (Crysis2 Executive Producer), you can see that the nano-suit wasn't dumbified, It's the other way aroun in fact, you can do muuuch more with the new one. I wont go into details cos I'm afraid I might reveal more than I should, but like I said i've read some interviews and articles around that proves my point (Like this one: http://kotaku.com/5511492/crysis-2-prev ... k-new-york )

The weapons closer to the screen, is a art direction decision, afaik.

The new suit seems good to me. I personally found it a pain in the ass constantly toggling between modes and hoped they'd find a way of making it more graceful without losing the pros/cons aspect of having to choose between brain and brawn.

They don't know how to manage a marketing campaign at EA/Crytek with their low quality video or what?

A video not uploaded by Crytek or EA, taken by someone filming an engine demonstration at an event not designed to be part of the marketing for Crysis 2.

Seriously what's your point again? Maybe you could rethink your posts before you start smashing at the keys like a fevered baboon.

I like to play this awesome game. Yes, So addictive 2 play. And also seriously though to say about this game over 1, I hope Crysis 2 is good. And by "good," I mean better than Brink, Bulletstorm, and Rage.

Cam video hosted by Gametrailer and such... Don't make me believe that Crytek/EA can't contact the hosters to remove their own contents until the official release!

This belong the marketing Crytek/EA want around Crysis 2 and that's pretty lame!

I'm not quite getting it all what you're saying but everyone can host their own videos on GT.com. Even regular users.

I can from personal experience say that what a publisher and what a developer deem as good publicity, when it comes to screens and videos, is usually VERY different.

And agreed with skdr on this btw

There is a surprisngly small amount of media released for Crysis 2, I'm sure that will all change in the future.

Suffice to say Crysis 2 is easily the best looking game the current gen consoles will ever see.

Cevat Yerli said in the latest PCG feature about Crysis 2 that "we're making the most advanced game in the world".. I better see the ability to destroy any building in the city and replace it with chickens and bananas or I wont be impressed
