Well the Russian one from Stalingrad was apparantly exceedingly generous in his kill reports and still didn't even come close to the Finnish guys kill count.

Yeah I think that would be possible. I read an article about one of the MG42 gunners at Omaha, he had something like 1000 kills in 9 hours.

how would that omaha guy keep tally either how? he must have had a guy assigned next to him just counting every kill he made. a guy that would also sometimes utter a quiet whisper in his ear, "m-m-m-monsterkill -kill -kill".
