ah so they can make liquid terminators that can form flesh and machine parts on the go, but a supersized terminator is 'out of place' ?

I'm getting the sense that the marketing and concept for this movie are far better than what we'll end up seeing...

Compared to the hunter killers, yeah. It looks like transformers.

This should make up for that totally out of place looking transformers robot they have stomping about.

I have to agree, Terminator was always more scary to em because of the technology they packed into a relatively small space. Although i did love the look of the larger tracked tanks you saw in the "flash-forwards," but the harvester is just too big imo.

You could say that about any cool looking robot that comes out of Hollywood these days. The Harvester looks fine.

I disagree. The tracked Hunter Killers you briefly see in Terminator 1 and 2 scared the pants off of me. I'm not sure why, but something about a huge chromed, tracked vehicle slowly crunching over skulls says more than a 60ft robot. I think it's more of a believable object than the big harvester robot and that makes it more intimidating and scary.

I couldn't find a direct image of it from the films so these will have to do.

I some what agree with you dux, but overall, anything beats Terminator 3's disaster. I'm not complaining at anything they have shown us thus far. I think its a good new change that the movie needs. I look forward to all of it.

Here are some of the great concepts brought into the reality of the picture.

Always keep in mind that the Terminators in the new movie and in the game are technically far less advanced then the ones that you know from the first 3 movies. The new movie is about pretty early in the resistance movement. Kyle Reese, the guy who got send back to safe John Connor in T1 is still a freakin kid in this movie! Also keep that in mind when critizicing that there are plants and shit. How would mankind be able to survive the next 20 years if the planet was a complete wasteland already?

So this movie isn't about time traveling future robots, but rather contemporary robots that can also time travel?

I don't think there is time travel in the movie. As i said it plays way earlier before these events and technologies. I'm not even sure if there are plasma rifles already. We don't have them in our game and i havent seen them in any of the movie references. But they might show up in one of the later movies i guess together with the other stuff (it's planned as a new trilogy afaik).

I've... never actually thought about the technology development of the Terminator universe. I just sorta assumed that they were always time traveling about and sending robots to kill people. Prehistoric time traveling robots made of stone, even. Once you start time traveling the origins of things don't matter, they can be anywhere.

Games are getting shorter and shorter \: I mean i dont think 60$ justifies under 4 hours but I dont think it justifies under 8... Which cod4 and halo 3 are under... The only thing i guess is that they have a decent mp backing.

I think gt gave this a badreview just on the 4 hours... Gameplay looks solid to me with no bugs mentioned in the review... Oh well i guess after you review so many 10 / 10 games (i wonder how they got perfect) a game that gives you a decent experience is considered shit. :[

I will pick it up regardless

I gotta be honest but this doesn't feel like Terminator... The art direction/style looks just like Bionic Commando with its saturated colors and lighting. When I think of Terminator I think of cold blueish steel...I think of darkness and creepy atmosphere. This just doesn't draw me in at all, it looks very generic. The gameplay as well doesn't seem to bring anything really new to the table. Then the under 4 hours of gameplay for $60.... *slowly backs away*

But you have Common talking, except from what I heard in the review is exactly the same as his records.

I have to agree with Klein, I'm sorry

A bad review for a full priced game only lasting less than four hours is pretty legit, but it's not just that.

    http://www.gametrailers.com/video/revie ... pons/47029

Here's their review of Wanted: Weapons of Fate. They mention that it's less than FIVE hours, but overall the review's much more positive with the score 7 instead of 4.

If I had a machine that could rent things instead of only buying them outright, I'd definitely try out Wanted. Fucking LOVED the movie.

Like i said before. Looks like bionic commando and from this review i can see the environments look rather poor tbh.

    - Unfinished

    - 4 hours?

    - 60$

You gotta be kidding me. You gotta have some self respect and cut the price to 10$ and that's still too much since for that money you can get plants vs zombies which is far more superior to this.
