The game is out now, and most reviews are in the 90% range. If you guys pick it up please let me know what you think ![]()
I'll definitely pick it in December! ![]()
I'll be picking it up later today ![]()
so when does this come out for pc?
Was sent today so I should be getting it tomorrow. Quite excited to try it out, I guess I'm in the minority but I really enjoyed AC1, and from what I've seen so far it seems that its better on all fronts.
I also just need a palette cleanser, been playing way too many shooters lately between MW2, Borderlands and also L4D2 ![]()
However, the first Assassin's Creed game was actually pretty good, despite the naysayers, so I don't see the second one suddenly sucking either, and so I don't get why they'd even need to do this shit. Also, Eidos supposedly pulled this same crap with Arkham Asylum, and yet that game ended up rocking utterly. So, I'm not sure what to think.
Release Microsoft Windows: Q1 2010
Is it worth waiting Furyo?

Literally every piece of news I hear about AC2 makes me want it more, and then every time I remember that and get sad. I just know by mid-December I'm going to be involuntarily spoiled on the entire game anyway, not to mention constant complaining about "Asscreed" for every single niggle and it's just going to totally ruin it for me ![]()
i was fairly dissapointed by just about everyhtign in the first one ( world strcture / story / sci fi stuff / combat / controls repetative quests ) except for the graphics which were excellent and id still hail as top 10 best ever material so ill defnitly let the dust settle on this one and get alot of reviews from friends i trust be for i cosider buying
Frie, you can hit the refresh button on that metacritic page you know ![]()
Played it for about half an hour. Like the first game it just takes ages to get to the good stuff, and by the time I got to the good stuff with the game giving you some actual control over things we had been playing it a bit too long and had to get back to work. Anyway, felt good and looked nice when you finally got inside the Animus, can't wait to get home and try it out for real.
Oh and by the way, is that Nolan North again? (AKA Nathan Drake
) He's an awesome voice actor but he's seriously getting overused in games these days D:
Yes that's him. Leonardo da Vinci is voiced by Gears of War's Dominic, and the thief leader you'll meet in Venice is voiced by RE5's lead character too.
Hey people all over are saying this game doesn't suck, how could that be?
to quote hausers:
QuoteThey took all the bad things everyone said about the first one and wrote a script that removed all those things from the second one.
QuoteYea first one got fucking repetitive as hell. The 2nd one is nowhere like that.
Really digging it so far. It really takes its time with setting up the story but I like it. Its very slow paced with the story in the beginning, which is slightly frustrating when you just wanna check it out quickly at work, but its actually a quite nice change for once to have a game that doesn't rush itself too much ![]()
Got the Villa now, so I guess I'm gonna be going on to Venice soon or something.
Anyway, good stuff so far, but then again I actually liked AC1 sooooo ![]()
I haven't played this game yet, but from what I've seen so far I just know that I'll love it!
It's beautiful, not shallow, smart and even with a touch of Italy to spice things up!
I'll have to be patient with it though, since I'll get it on the PC, but then again some things are worth not jumping straight on like a madman. I'll savor the little I get for now, until I can really dive into this.
hahahaha omg that is fucking awesome
