maybe you should reinstall steam or sumthing, desperate times call for desperate measures

Try reinstalling winsock. I have a winsock fix utility if you need it.

these are all the errors i got after the installation. i clicked retry till it suddenly, magically worked. took about one hour

the game is reaaaally nice so far, though.

This issue should be solved now, through one of the recent Steam updates.

Sounds gay, if I get that error I'll probably nuke Steam in frustration...
