I really dig that minimalistic approach. You can either go the stupid and boring way and make a complete CG trailer that doesn't show gameplay nor anything vaguely connected to the actual game, because you simply have nothing to show (Prince of Persia original CG trailer) or you can decide to be creative since you don't have anything to show, that you'll actually show NOTHING.

Result is 10 times more hype.

wow, that was crap. Can't they just wait to release something interesting rather then a bunch of gun fire and screaming any monkey could put together, no offense MR. Infinity Ward, I love you!

People are going crazy with the "analyze" button right now, finding stuff like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/ ... WWWWWN.jpg in the small flashes of stuff. Looking forward to seeing more... and the actual game, of course

I'm kinda getting a Heat vibe from that teaser. Very intriguing, definitely my most anticipated game of the year....even though we haven't seen shit from it

Btw, I didn't see this at first, try and click the analyze button, then you can zoom in and find numbers and sentences that doesn't mean anything

I really dig the style they made the teaser in. Also i like the idea of an oil-rig level.

The things you see in the video is someone at a security checkpoint (airport), then start to shoot everyone?

    I smell another airplane mission

the buildup is too slow, but at least it shows very well what the game is going to be about.

I think some peeps wanted more then just a teaser but we'll put out more in a bit.

I think it came out pretty well. There is a lot of info crammed in the montage bit.

I cannot wait to see what you guys have in store. I was a bit cynical about the teaser, but I had high expectations.

The visual style of that teaser makes me how I get something like that in the actual game to use, like a directional mic I point at a door and it visualizes what's on the other side by sound or something. It looks totally awesome.

Maybe it's just me, but i can't get any hype from a call of duty game . In the end, we all know what we will be playing at : an extremely linear FPS.

With best in the world directing and production values. That's where the hype comes in (at least with regards to Modern Warfare games)

The ones from Infinity Ward have always been very exciting and generally excellent — kind of like when a new Half-Life game comes out. Unless you just don't like FPS games, I can't see how a new Infinity Ward Call of Duty game wouldn't excite you a bit.

I've never been hyped about the miscellaneous Call of Duty titles like World at War, though.

Same CoD 4 just annoyed me a lot.
