Eh, I'm not really sure if I like Sakura now, she seems a bit of a one-trick pony with her ex-tatsu -> j.lk cross-up, and that just makes people rage-quit and send me hate mail...

I've been playing Viper and Rufus quite a lot, plus they're in the arcade version (not that I've been there in months). Viper is rather hard to play properly on a pad without getting some serious Street Fighter Thumb, though.

that connection lost is getting on my nerves.

I quit, I'll try playing online when some sort of patch comes out. connections is always dropping, and it's not always rage quitters, connections just simply drop.

I'm finding it hard to move away from Cammy. I'm feeling defenseless with most everyone else. Cammy just covers so much ground it's hard to drop her. What am I without my ex hooligan throw?

Though I have been liking Chun-Li, I'm not quite ready to use her in ranked just yet.

I just noticed both of you have PSN IDs! Which platform do you have this on?

Erratic: There are other characters that are good at covering ground but none of them are as nice to look at

HP: I've got a friend who couldn't stay connected using the wireless, can you switch to a wired connection (assuming you're not already)?

it seems it's almost a garauntee someone playing as akuma during a ranked match doesnt know how to use him. Of the 50odd times I played against him only one person bothered to use the narrow jump in DPkick move. It was all air fireballs.

For those of you here who are addicted as hell, here's some of the US west coast best players playing for about an hour. Good place to pick up new ways to use characters. I fierce kick with bison way more now.

Those fucking nerds really get me on my nerves. Jeez, they really think they're the best of the best!

I loved when they jumped online trying to force people to rage-quit, and two random players in a row beat one of Cali's best SF4 arcade players.

I'm currently addicted to this game.. I recorded a couple of matches of me and my buds playing at work.

Note: These aren't amazing videos. Just fun stuff ^^. . . some videos have music others have us talking shit to each other.

nice, you have a good ground game with sakura. Those FA's when the opponent is down are risky as hell though. If the chun-li had remembered to EX-SBK then you would have lost like 15-20%

That’s cool, Vivi, really nice to see someone using her well. Here’s the best piece of advice I can give a fellow Sakura player: Instead of following her ex-hurricane kick with otoshi try a jumping light kick, which makes them land on their feet. If you hold forwards (or dash) you will discreetly move under them as they fall (almost completely off camera), or you can just let her land. Your opponent now has to guess what side you are on and block, or eat whatever you enter next. So, to put that in geek-speak:

    j.hp, c.hp, ex-tatsu, j.lk >> walk under/or not >> c.lp, c.hp, ex-tatsu, otoshi

This is the most powerful thing she has; ridiculous damage and stun - worth saving your meter for. Instead of the otoshi you can also do another j.lk or ultra. You can do it with more complicated combos, and actually start it of a light kick, but that takes some really strict timing.

    Edit: Watch round 3 of

    woow,, very nice.

I guess I should focus more on her juggles rather than ground-links

I feel quite opposite, I would love to learn her ground game! I saw some justin wong videos of him playing her and It just got me wanting to learn her tiny build up combos more. I might record some more videos this week or next week if I get the chance.

Dunno if it has been mentioned before, but, does anyone here play with a arcade stick?

I was going to buy one, but they're really big and I don't know if I'll get use to them. Plus, there's this really great official SF4 pad, but damn, 75€ + Shipping?!
