World of Warcraft - Open beta

I've never played an MMORPTHGHT before, should I try this? I don't want to download 2.5 gigs and be disappointed

Haha, I've got an unused account too. The beta is downloading really slowly (15kbps max), so it'll probably be over before I actually get it.

if theres one thing ive learned....its that video games make any situation worse

ESPECIALLY, if its an MMORPG....because then you end up selling your wife and kids on ebay and living out of a cardboard box with a t1 connection and level 97 wizard

a month ago i got a nice email from blizzard... I had been drafted to participate in the closed european beta...

not many norwegians got that letter (a dousin i think, atleast.. i didnt find any more norwegian) I played it straight for 3 weeks..

now im bored to shit of it...

But regardless, you can't create accounts anymore, haven't been able to for a while. The system Blizzard had, before whomever decided to upload it, consisted of you rushing for an account (500,000 available - not "open" in the traditional sense) and, if succesful, getting a D/L link.
