    All the information after the jump, the short versions is it's a procedural platformer with many of the mannerisms of good old Rick Dangerous.

    oh man rick dangerous was killer. in the literal sense. i think i spent on the good side of 200 lives just to get past the first level. jesus.

    why couldn't he make a procedurally generating game out of a classic 2d jump and run that doesn't suck ? like lets say mega man or contra or something

    I'm the one that threw Rick Dangerous in there, honestly it's only similar to that in the theme and death count. He lists his inspirations as Spelunker, La Mulana, Balding's Quest, Aztec, Nethack, Indiana Jones and Cave Story. Which are all awesome.

    Damn, this game is really difficult, and i'm not the kind of player who get easily frustrated by difficulity, but woaw. It's really frustrating to die so easily and have to restart from the beggining, he could at least made some checkpoints (or give the possibility to have continues?) between the zones and i would be ok with it, because i feel i always do the same level :/.

    You can buy shortcuts to the different zones.

    ahhhh ok ! i didn't thought the shortcuts were checkpoints but a way to get faster to the end ! Then nevermind what i've said
