Well it's out folks Now I actually have time to pack for my upcoming country skip. Already itching at the bit to get back into the level and start working on B3. I hope to have most areas detailed and a more cohesive visual theme throughout its entirety. Kinda wished I put more focus on that at the start but ah well, it plays good and that's the main thing for now.

If anyone's in Australia, it's currently on a dedicated internode server at 150.101.172.77:27015 and on BestGN's rotation at: 202.131.91.90:27040

Currently doing the rounds on numerous forums, I feel like a bit of a pleb doing it :/ 1st posts promoting your own map and all, but ah well.

It still needs some architecture work in some of the rooms but it's definately great looking. However your HDR settings are a bit too high and they kinda blow my eyes

    Good job m8, looks ace.

It`s on the rotation of one of the servers I play in often. When I have played it I'll give some feedback on the gameplay but it already looks like an awesome map!

Cheers guys. Been getting some good feedback from those who've hosted it already, it's taken off quite well so far. The primary aussie server was packed for about 8 hours or so last night, 24/24 with it as the sole map in rotation!

HDR Reduction is in the works Shacky, a few people have commented on this so it's becoming an established quarrel with the level.

Which server is this? Hard to keep track of who's hosting what, but its fun to pay their forums a visit if they have a website setup.

It's looking good, I like the idea of it being atop a large elevation, meaning a lot of Lolz when people fly or fall off.

Yeah it's provided its fair share of laughs too Seeing ragdolls take a dive is also a good one.

How's your map going? Haven't heard much lately.

Some WIP, I dont think I've achieved the feel I want for this area, feels a bit too narrow - but well, it's an improvement over the previous rendition

Looks much better now but I´d add a handrail to the platform over those barrels

Looks like you're using several short sprites to light up the (quite long) fluorescent light. It's kinda visible on the screen, but maybe not in action.

Else, your work is very good, it lacks some details or some decals/overlays but I think it's what makes the TF2-style (i guess).

I'm a big fan of this picture (the building in the background):

Nice handrail suggestion Freak, it should fit pretty well

Yeah I am using small sprites - it was a cheap C&P from a cp_dustbowl spawnroom if I remember correctly. I've seen some other sprite uses and beams in other maps so I'll look into that.

You could indeed try with a beam instead of a sprite.

Using the Fade Start and Fade End flags.

This map looked great already, but I'm loving the new look. That first updated shot in particular. Great work!
