Aye, he sees everyone else standing up after Bond freaks them out and chooses to stay sat down. He makes a little comment to the person next to him, and the last we see of him is when he watches Bond walk off to confront all the baddies.

Can't be bothered to read what people here think of it, but I saw it yesterday and had very low expectations with all the so-so reviews there's been, but I really liked it. Sure its not as polished as Casino Royale in plot, but the action was fucking brilliant. And I for one don't give a fuck if it's action is very much inspired by the Bourne movies. I'd say that some of the chases in this movie were better than some of the stuff in the Bourne movies even.

And the people that say that "Ooooh, its not James Bond anymore, he's too aggressive and confrontational", go watch the old movies, I still love the old ones but they're completely different movies and I like that this is something else. Too much of that charming old prick, gimme some explosions!

I still think Casino Royale is a much better movie overall, but this was hardly the train wreck that a lot of the reviews I saw made it out to be.

Wow, I never thought this day would come but I'm disagreeing a little with you there Mazy.

I didn't like the Bourne-esque action one bit it was too much flip-flopping between camera angles and it only pissed me off when I saw it. The action was sweet tho and I'm giving the film a 7/10.

Indeed the flipfloping drove me nuts.

And that's my only complaint about the Bourne movies, especially the second one. The cutting every 0.35 seconds in action sequences was so frustrating. Otherwise those movies would all be A+ from me. I guess I am getting used them, like what we saw in QoS but I also still hate. I prefer to see action in longer shots in more satisfying ways. Think of the action in classics like Raiders of the Lost Arc or Empire Strikes Back. We're talking action film-making 101 from a slightly different era, but at least you can get your mind around everything that's going on. All the super fast cuts and microshots feel like a bullshit cinematic technique to artificially make a film seem more intense. I guess it is a trend that Directors and DPs have "come up with" but FFS it feels like a bunch of suits in Hollywood said "make it more intensererer!" and then the actual filmmakers rolled their eyes and said ".............................ok." (But that's just a cynical perspective.)

Aside from that, I still enjoyed QoS though I liked Casino Royale better, and overall I think Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery's, though the two portrayals have lots of differences.
