I do agree that it lacks the contrast and "cory" look but, well, we'll see how it goes. One thing that I wonder about is how you will dispatch a skulk chewing on it as it will have a lot to hide behind which will make things difficult.

Which editor the devs use to make the lvl design task? A in-house editor?

They are using the incredible In-House Engine.

i like it, but the weapon animation doesn't seem to reflect the heaviness of the gun. looks more like the tmp in counter-strike than a bfg.

This reminds me of Gunman Chronicles somehow.

That gun angle annoys the crap out of me. "Brb, shooting the wall to the left of me".

Also what is it called when the weapons waits slightly before moving in the direction of the mouse, it makes it look more organic and not as stiff as in that video?

An annoying delay that shouldn't be in multiplayer games

No, not that. It's purely visual thing. Source engine games have this. When you look right the weapon kind of "sways" to the position after the mouse movement.

I actually like that phenomenon. The more it looks and feels like a weapon, and by weapon I mean a 7 kg heavy, unhandy, shitty thing that you have to wield 24/7 in a war scenario, the better.

If it doesn't affect your aiming who cares.

Reminds me of those shitheads who turn the first person model off.

IMO, nothing to do with realism, at least not for me. It's a purely visual thing that adds to the overall feel of the game. Weapon bobbing is one of them.

I turn weapon bobbing and viewmodel off when I can, gets distracting and I enjoy it more without.

/edit youtube link with proper editing that we did ourselves.

First ingame footage has been released, surprised no one posted it yet. My sections are the shooting the skulk with machine gun and gorge running around in 3rd person for fun.
