Just finished it, 16 hours played according to steam.

It was pretty fecking awesome, reminded me very strongly of the first one, I did the first half the game totally silent but decided to try some different things later, never went full blown combat though.

I don´t understand why people are whining about the bosses?

    Quote

Nah, nobody is whining because they can't beat the first boss. He's just a normal dude operating under the normal mechanics with more health. The others, err, mix things up

Metal Gear Solid let you avoid killing bosses by filling them full of tranquilizers instead. They still died in the cutscene though. It was just to keep your kills at zero.

I'd get the hate for the bosses if they were substantial characters like DX1. There's no interactions with them outside of cinematics so what other recourse would I really want to apply to them? Shooting them in the face is the only thing that makes sense.

    Though I only just left

Eliza Cassan being an AI took my by surprise! This was just brilliant and very well done! I also managed to make the boss get stuck in a wall and just shot her to death.

People were predicting this twist from the very first DXHR trailer that showed a news report.

Started playing this last night.. Can't say I was too blown away. It's pretty good but definitely not the best game I've ever played!

Maybe when I do a few more missions it'll become more fun.

Am in Shanghai on my second playthrough and i never play anything twice really so i must've really enjoyed this. One thing i would say was that

    Quote

on hard the last two bosses were really simple, shot the first one a few times with my augmented edition grenade launcher and finished him off in 5 seconds or so, the last boss i just ran underneath the turrets so they couldnt see me, flicked the switches and killed the women in the pods then waited for the main woman to appear so i could shoot her too. I had the EMP upgrade on so the electric shocks didnt affect me, seemed like i did this the wrong way but she died so oh well

. Minor concerns though, am enjoying the second run through as i missed one or two side missions the first time and i'm trying to do the 'foxiest of the hounds' and 'pacifist' achievements

I completed this on normal and started playing on hard. It appears playing on hard only makes the enemies hit harder, so as far as a non-lethal run goes it seems exactly the same. The only part it’s actually affected was

    Quote

post-helicopter crash. In the end I decided to just run away.

What I definitely do like is how different things are on my second play through. In regards to the routes I’m taking and how people react. Some things have turned out completely differently.

First two bosses completely bugged out on me this time.

    Quote

For the first boss I had no weapon because of some awesome forward planning, so chucked a few objects at him, cloaked into a side room, and when I came out it triggered his death (assume he killed himself with grenades). Second boss stopped functioning and stood completely still while I did a few trips for ammo.

Really nice: The easy mode is called Tell me a story, so it's less embarrassing for a casual-noob like me who doesn't want to fight his ass of.

I'm now at the point where I could go to

Errrm, quite hard to say really. Multiplayer it's definitely BF2, back in the day! Singleplayer... Maybe one of the Elder Scrolls games perhaps?

I'm honestly not trolling. I am enjoying Deus Ex but I don't find it particularly groundbreaking, except perhaps the atmosphere and environments. But as I said, I'm only on the second mission so maybe it will blow my mind soon
