Yeah unless you have someone in the UK to activate it for you, steam accounts are not region locked themself.

    We're assuming it will yeah.

What we can do is order it from amazon.co.uk anyway, and ask a friend or relative in the UK to login with our steam account and activate the game there, that would surely do it.

If you try to activate it here, it won’t be in German since you can’t activate it at all.

I bought a game in Poland for a dutch friend, activated it in Poland (he didnt tried so I dont know if wouldnt allow) and it works ever since, except its locked to Polish language lol.

it was Black Cocks btw, because it was super cheap in Poland lol.

Dunno if this was posted here yet, but at the same time Eidos announced the release delay For Deus Ex 3 (February?), they laid off most of the whole staff except for some leads. Supposedly the game has been in a state of polish by a skeleton crew for the past 5 months. That really worries me... Note- I heard this second hand back then from a THQ applicant who was one of the casualties.

I was watching some gameplay videos and I'm still not completely sold. The cover system seems too easy, you can basically fine tune your crosshair while standing behind cover. I know this is a common behavior nowadays but I just don't like it. It also doesn't make much sense in an fps game anyway. The AI also seems a bit stupid, but maybe it's because this video is from the first level.

Skip to 2:20 and you will see what I mean:

I love the environments, art direction, setting and graphics and I'll buy this game one day, but from the videos that I've seen it plays a bit like Crysis 2, which is not my type of game at all

Also, if they went for 3rd-person view while on cover, why not go with 3rd-person all the time?

I'll wait for a demo before purchasing this

I actually like this a LOT in Rainbow 6: Vegas, and am glad someone else is finally putting it to use.

Because third person view is good for looking around corners, and first person view is good for examining environmental details and getting immersed and level designers not having to put 20-foot ceilings in every environment to accommodation for the camera the PC's dragging around.
