i think i used an earlier version of this during my play-through ... because some textures looked totally awesome highres and 3d and shit and other were just awful

I finally started playing through the first one and i'm glad this is out but i was playing it on onlive so i can't install these textures... i'm not TOO far from the beginning but restarting always sucks - not sure how much of a difference the textures would really make.

They make a lot of diference, to make DeusEx1 less painful on the eyes, I suggest installing a DX10 render and New Vision. (Google for it, you'll find the files you need and guides)

As of gameplay, I also suggest installing "Deus Ex Revision mod", don't worry, it wont change the game drastically, it just fine tweaks the game here and there and make it even more awesome.

I'm not watching the trailers for the games that i want to play, otherwise it feels like I've already completed it before even purchasing it lol

Those aren't trailers, it's sort of viral videos, no gameplay footage on them.

Just pre ordered the augmented edition for £24. While it is all good and fun, I hate bonus shit like this. Just put it in the regular game. Geez.
