"This magical application" lets you adopt a virtual pet and watch as he or she comes to life in your living room.

Some footage is being show. A frightening monkey-dog thing is bursting out of a lifestyle family's telly.

The lifestyle boy claps and it jumps. He draws a car on a bit of paper, the monkey-thing colours it in and the lifestyle dad presses a button on the PS3 pad to turn it into a 3D wooden car.

The monkey-thing is wearing a variety of outfits e.g. punk, dinosaur. I am not sure I understand the meaning of anything any more. EyePet is out next year.

And thus the game I am currently working on is announced, not quite in the same vein as 8 Days is it.

    Go Go Monkey Dog Thing.

"....that has been rendered onto the stream afterwards. even the ps3 cant react to an orange rolling that fast. if that was possible, you could build awesome robots right now. "

    Priceless ...

Initially concepts for activities, then once concept approval is gained, detailed system design for prototyping by the code team.

Once prototypes are up and running, several iterations of testing & feedback until the prototype is either approved for inclusion in the game or scrapped.

I'm generally working on several prototypes at a time.

I'd be more specific, but NDA n all that ...

My portfolio is a bit out of date and unfinished really, I guess it gives the impression that I am only a level designer, which is not the case.

I should put some more work into it, but I am happy with my job right now and busy playing an MMO in my spare time so ...

Finally what seemed to me a smart casual game. I really dig the promises this trailer hints at, in the same vein as the user created content LBP is going to have. I really like that part of Sony's brand right now, and I can't wait to see that in actual play.
