looks OK but needs more variation, this could be a 512*512 texture and noone would notice a difference ingame

Not true (imo:P), because it would have the slight differences, which would trick the eye... And if he were to make more variation, the thing wouldnt tile too good..

I think the grass is nice the way it is. Not too busy and nice tiling, good detail and nice touch with the pink flowers and leaves and it doesnt have any annoying black spots that are so common in photosourced grass textures... but you could make a few different versions of the grass and try a few different things maybe (adding dirt patches, make a version with autumn-coloured leaves, snow with grass blades sticking out, etc) good job

I like the grass texture but it has some blurry/muddy/blegh parts. Fix those and you've got yourself a winner.

Very nice, that road is crying out for a normal map!

yes, you should also remove the lighting on the cobble road there.. let the normal map take care of it

In agreement with Dann0, the grass has much to lighting on it from the photograph that you originally started with, which is usually the most common problem with grass/photosourcing.

Wouldn't the normal map just overshadow that anyway?

First thing I'd do with those textures is colour-correct them. Right now they look like straight photo rips... the grass is way too bright for example... the stone has a lot of this blueish photo tint to it which. they also all have different contrasts. get that balanced out first..

Hi, I am new in here.

I made this wallpaper texture for a Level in the style of Nouveau Art.

    [Blocked Image: http://home.arcor.de/ck-atlantic/wallpaper01.jpg]

It's from scratch Computermade, no photos basing on this. What do you think of it, what can I do better?

    Woah... Well that's... new.

Looking cool. Whether it will work ingame or not fine I think depends a lot on the architecture, setting and lighting in the map. I think those brown lines might be a bit too contrasty compared to the other stuff tho.
